By using Bird Cage (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Bird Cage displays publicly available wanted-persons information sourced from the FBI's official Wanted API. In a future update, the App will also display official state sex offender registry information once data licensing is complete. The App does not create, verify, or investigate any of this information — it displays what the source agency publishes.
Information in the App comes directly from government sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors introduced by those sources. We make reasonable efforts to keep data current but do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness. Always verify important information directly with the relevant law enforcement agency.
Individuals listed under "Fugitives" are wanted or charged with a crime — they have not been convicted. Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
You agree not to use information in the App to harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or take vigilante action against any person. Doing so may be a crime under state and federal law and will result in your access being terminated. The App is not a substitute for law enforcement — if you have information about a wanted individual, contact the FBI or your local police department directly, not through this App.
Government and law enforcement agencies may contact us (see Support) to request that their official wanted-persons or registry data be included in the App. We review all such requests before any data is added, and reserve the right to decline a submission or remove data at any time. Adding an agency's data does not create any ongoing obligation on our part to keep it updated on a particular schedule.
The App currently does not require creating an account with a name or email — it assigns your device an anonymous identifier so features like watchlists work. A future update may add optional real accounts and paid subscription features; those will be governed by updated terms at that time.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or its data.
We may update these terms as the App changes. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
