CourtWatch Terms of Service

Last updated: July 8, 2026

What CourtWatch is

CourtWatch aggregates publicly available court records from official and licensed data sources and sends courtesy notifications about cases you choose to track. CourtWatch is an information service. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by using it.

Notifications are not legal notices

CourtWatch provides courtesy notifications from public records. Notifications are not legal notices. You are responsible for appearing in court as ordered regardless of whether a notification is received. Data may lag official court records. Not legal advice.

Accuracy

Court data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors introduced by the courts or data providers. Always verify important information with the court directly. You are solely responsible for meeting your court obligations.

Acceptable use

You may not use CourtWatch to harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any person. You may not use CourtWatch for decisions about employment, housing, tenancy, credit, insurance, or any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). CourtWatch is not a consumer reporting agency.
